How to get Sukhothai
Bus: Air-conditioned buses
depart from Bangkok’s Mochit 2 Bus Terminal to Sukhothai
daily between 9.45 a.m. and 10.20 p.m.,frequently during the
morning. The journey takes 7 hours and costs 256 baht.
Train: There are no trains going
directly to Sukhothai. One may travel by train to Phitsanulok
and then take a local bus to Sukhothai, some 50 kilometres
away.
Air: Bangkok Airways has daily 1-hour
flights from Bangkok to Sukhothai and also services the Chiang
Mai-Sukhothai route. Sukhothai Airport is about 40 kilometres
north of the town.
How to get Tak
Car: From Bangkok, take Highway No. 1 (Phahonyothin)
and Highway No. 32 to Nakhon Sawan via Ayutthaya, Ang Thong,
Sing Buri, Chai Nat, then turn into Highway No. 1 again and
proceed to Tak via Kamphaeng Phet, a total distance of 426
kilometres.
Bus: Air-conditioned buses depart from Bangkok’s
Mochit 2 Bus Terminal to Tak between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. every
day. Thejourney takes 6 hours.
Train: There are no trains going directly
to Sukhothai. One may travel by train to Phitsanulok and then
take a local bus to Tak.
Air: Bangkok Airways flies from Bangkok to
Mae Sot , 86 kilometres from Tak.

How to get Phetchabun
Car: From Bangkok, drive along Highway No.
1 passing Saraburi to Phu Khae (Km. 125), turn right into
Highway No. 21 and proceed to Phetchabun via Chai Badan, Si
Thep and Wichian Buri, a total distance of 346 kilometres.
Bus: Transport Co. Ltd. operates both air-conditioned
and non air-conditioned bus services along the Bangkok-Phetchabun-Lom
Sak route. Buses depart from Bangkok’s Mochit 2 Bus
Terminal daily.
Air: Thai Airways flies from Bangkok to Phetchabun
on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
How to get Kamphaeng
Phet
Car: To travel from Bangkok to Kamphaeng
Phet (358 kms.)
Bus: You can take a direct tour coach (both
air-conditioned and ordinary) or You can take a "Chiang
Mai" tour coach and get off at Kamphaeng Phet
Air: You can take a flight Bangkok to Phitsanulok
and take a bus from Phitsanulok to Kamphaeng Phet.

How to get Phitsanulok
Car:
1. From Bangkok, take Highway No. 1 to Wang Noi, then proceed
to Nakhon Sawan along Highway No. 32 via Ayutthaya, Ang Thong,
Sing Buri, and finally take Highway No. 117 to Phitsanulok,
a total distance of 337 kilometres.
2. Drive from Bangkok to Sing Buri and use the In Buri-Tak
Fa route (Highway No. 11), then turn into Highway No. 12 and
proceed to Phitsanulok via Amphoe Wang Thong, a total distance
of 450 kilometres.
Bus: Buses depart from Bangkok’s
Mochit 2 Bus Terminal to Phitsanulok.
Train: Regular trains depart from Bangkok’s
Hua Lamphong Railway Station to Phitsanulok.
Air: Thai Airways has several
daily flights connecting Bangkok with Phitsanulok. It takes
50 minutes for the journey.
How to get Phrae
Car: From Bangkok, take Highway No. 1 and
Highway No. 11 to Phrae via Nakhon Sawan, Phichit, Phitsanulok
and Uttaradit.
Bus: Transport Co. Ltd. operates regular
buses to Phrae at 10 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.. The buses leave
Mochit 2 Bus Terminal.
Air: Thai Airways flies directly from Bangkok
to Phrae on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and also operates
Bangkok-Phitsanulok-Phra-Nan flights on other days.
